Muffin Tin Apple Pies

Store-bought pie crust
2 semi-sweet apples
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter

Preheat the oven to 350. Unroll pie crust and cut crust to fit into a standard, 12-muffin tin. (Cut one piece for the inside of each hole in the tin, plus an additional piece to put on top of the mini pie.)

Peel, core, and chop apples. In a small dish, melt butter. Add sugar and cinnamon to butter and combine. Pour mixture over apples. heavily grease the muffin tin, then place pie crust into each hole. Fill with apples, then top with additional piece of crust. Press edges together with a fork and bake 35-40 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from muffin tin.
