1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter
4 ounces milk or dark chocolate
Icing to decorate
Line a dish with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter. Place mixture into parchment-lined baking dish and spread it evenly to create a quarter-inch thick layer. Freeze one hour.
Melt chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between. Let it cool. Remove peanut butter and cut into squares. Dip each square in cooled chocolate, then refrigerate 30 minutes. (Tip: Peanut butter “defrosts” extremely quickly, so after cutting it into squares, place squares back into the freezer. Take them out one by one to ensure they remain frozen enough to coat in chocolate.) Use icing, sprinkles, bows, etc. to decorate the peanut butter “presents.”
