4 slices bread
2 eggs, plus a splash of milk
2 cups sweetened corn flakes (we used Frosted Flakes)
4 tablespoons butter
Slice bread vertically to create the sticks. In a bowl, add eggs and a splash of milk, and whisk. Place corn flakes in a bag and break them into smaller pieces to resemble breadcrumbs; add corn flakes to a separate bowl. In a large pan, melt butter on medium-low. Dip each bread stick in egg wash, then in corn flakes, then cook in butter 2-3 minutes per side. (Keep an eye on the heat to make sure the butter doesn’t burn; lower heat and add more butter if needed.) Let cool 1 minute.
