2 slices thick-cut bacon
1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
1, 20-ounce can pork and beans (such as Campbell’s)
2 tablespoons molasses
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Cook bacon in a medium pan to desired crispness. Remove bacon and chop. Then, in the same pan, add pork and beans, onions, bacon, molasses, and brown sugar. Heat on medium low and stir, cooking about 5 minutes to heat through.
Transfer beans to a casserole dish, cover with aluminum foil, and bake 30 minutes. Then, remove tin foil, stir beans, and bake an additional 10 minutes, uncovered.
