Grilled Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Salt and pepper
4 slices thin chicken, plus skewers and oil for searing
1/2 Vidalia onion, thickly chopped

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and a bit of salt and pepper. Coat chicken with dry rub. Add chicken, plus chopped onion, to a skewer by weaving chicken and adding onion in between.

Preheat the oven to 350. In a large pan, add chicken skewers and sauté on medium heat, 3 minutes per side, to get a nice sear. Then, transfer the skewers to the oven and bake 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
