2 servings shells or pasta of choice
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
1/2 cup gruyere
Preheat the oven to 350. Cook pasta according to package instructions. In a small pan, heat butter on low until fully melted. Add breadcrumbs, and season with salt and pepper, then heat on medium-low, stirring frequently, until toasted. Remove breadcrumbs from heat and set aside.
In a large pan, heat heavy cream on low for about 5 minutes or until steaming. Then, add cheddar and whisk until fully combined; add gruyere and whisk until fully combined.
Once pasta is cooked, drain, and toss with sauce. Then, pour pasta into an oven-safe dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake 15-20 minutes.
