Beer-Braised Bratwurst

3-5 Bratwurst links
1 small, sweet onion, sliced
1/3 cup beef stock
1/3 cup beer of choice (we used Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen)
2 tablespoons butter

Preheat the oven to 400. In a large, oven-safe dish, add bratwurst and sliced onion. Then, pour beer and beef stock over brats and onions. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to opposite sides of dish. Bake 40 minutes, flipping bratwurst halfway through cooking. Make sure bratwurst links reach at least 160 degrees.
