8-ounce mozzarella ball, plus oil for frying
splash of milk
2-3 cups panko breadcrumbs
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
In a medium pan, pour enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan by 1/2 inch. Preheat oil to 350. Slice mozzarella into rectangular pieces. In a small bowl, combine eggs and milk to create an egg wash. Combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large, resealable bag. Dip each mozzarella piece in egg wash, then toss it in breadcrumbs. Fry in oil until golden brown, about two minutes on each side.
