Ingredients:
1 sheet frozen puff pastry
Either 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or 1 cup cheese whiz
1 package cooked Steak Umms (6 slices total)
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper, plus olive oil for sautéing
1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
Directions:
Defrost puff pastry overnight in the refrigerator.
In a small pan, add a splash of olive oil, and sauté peppers and onions on medium-low, 3-5 minutes or until softened.
Roll puff pastry out into an 11×11 square, then evenly top it with cheese, steak, peppers, and onions, leaving about a half-inch perimeter on all sides. Once done, roll the puff pastry into a cylindrical shape, then cover with tin foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 430. Remove the cheesesteak roll from the refrigerator, and slice it into 1-inch-thick pieces. Bake 20 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown.
