Ingredients: Makes 6-8 lettuce wraps
1 pound ground turkey, plus oil for cooking
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
6-8 butter lettuce leaves
Thinly sliced sweet onion, as desired
Optional scallions, for garnish
In a large pan, add a splash of oil, then turkey and bell pepper, and cook on medium-low until meat is fully browned—about 8-10 minutes. Then, add teriyaki sauce to turkey and toss. Scoop turkey mixture onto lettuce wraps, then top with onion slices and optional scallions.
