3 cups frozen tater tots
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons chipotle mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded cheese (we used a taco blend)
2-3 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
Optional garnishes, such as scallions or crushed red pepper flakes
Add tater tots to the air fryer, and cook them at 375 for 5 minutes. Remove, shake the tots, and heat another 5 minutes. Then, remove the tots and place them in a bowl. Add tin foil to the bottom of the air fryer tray (not the bottom of the air fryer). Add tots back to air fryer, and top with cheese. Fry another minute, just until cheese is melted.
Carefully remove the tots and foil from the tray and set on a plate. (You can use a spatula to remove the tots all at once from the foil, though it’s not totally necessary.) Top the totchos with sour cream, chipotle mayo, and crumbled bacon, as well as any optional garnishes you prefer.
