
Ingredients:
1 loaf whole wheat French or Italian bread
1 package shredded mozzarella cheese (about 2 cups)
2/3 cup jarred tomato sauce, or more/less as desired
Fresh basil or basil pesto (we went with pesto because it was on sale)
Directions:
Cut bread in half lengthwise and toast until the broiler 3-5 minutes or until crispy. Remove bread from the oven, then top with sauce, cheese, and basil or pesto. Bake at 350 10-15 minutes. Remove pizza, and cut it into individual pieces.
