Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
1 bagged Caesar Salad kit
1 box regular or whole wheat pasta (for creamier pasta salad, use 3/4 of the box)
4-6 chicken tenderloins
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes, optional

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Meanwhile, season chicken with salt and pepper, and pop it in the air fryer; cook 7-9 minutes at 350. (Or, add a splash of olive oil to a pan and cook chicken on medium-low, 3-4 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.) Once chicken is cooked, let it rest 5 minutes, then chop it.

Drain pasta, and rinse it under cold water to cool it completely. Then, transfer pasta to a large bowl, and add chicken. Remove contents from bagged salad kit (lettuce, dressing, cheese, etc.) and add them to the bowl, plus tomatoes if using. Toss the salad thoroughly, then serve.
