Teriyaki Steak & Broccoli

1 package frozen broccoli
1 package pre-cooked white rice
1 pound top sirloin steak, sliced—plus a bit of oil for cooking
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons chopped scallions

Cook broccoli and rice according to package instructions.

Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Add some oil to a large pan, and cook the steak on medium, turning as necessary to get a sear on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. (Cooking time may vary depending on desired doneness.)

Turn off the heat, then add teriyaki sauce, and toss steak to coat it in sauce. Evenly distribute broccoli and rice to 4 bowls, then top with teriyaki steak and scallions.
