Italian Sausage Dip

Ingredients:
2 sweet Italian sausage links
4 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided
Salt and pepper
1 long hot pepper, chopped
3/4 cup marinara sauce

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400. Add sausage to a pan, and cook about 20 minutes or until cooked through to at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the sausage from the oven, let it rest 10 minutes, then chop it.

Set the oven temperature to 350. In a bowl, add cream cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, and the chopped sausage. Season the mixture with salt and pepper as desired, and combine well. Transfer the mixture to a pie plate or small baking dish, and spread it evenly along the bottom of the dish. Then, add the chopped pepper evenly over top of the mixture, then spread the sauce evenly over top of that. Add the remaining cheese, then bake it for 20 minutes.
