Buttery Shrimp & Penne

2 servings penne pasta (save 1/3 cup pasta water)
4 tablespoons butter
12-15 fresh medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sea salt and black pepper
Other seasonings, as desired

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Season the pasta water generously, and reserve about 1/3 cup of pasta water right before draining the pasta.

Meanwhile, add butter to a large pan, and let it melt fully on medium-low heat. Then, add shrimp to the same pan, and cook them 3-4 minutes per side or until they are pink and opaque. Season with black pepper, sea salt, and any other desired seasonings.

Drain the pasta, then add it to the pan with the shrimp. Add the pasta water as well, and toss the entire dish together, then transfer it to individual plates.
