Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta

2 pork sausages
2 servings shells
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
1-2 tablespoons Parmesan
Optional parsley, for garnish

Preheat the oven to 400. In an oven-safe dish, add sausage and cook 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 140. Remove sausage, let rest, then slice. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. While pasta cooks, heat tomato sauce on medium-low until hot. Then, add cream, and whisk. Drain pasta, then add pasta and sausage to sauce, and toss. Top with Parmesan and optional parsley, and serve.
