2 servings pasta, such as penne or bowties
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika, or more as desired
1/4 cup shredded sharp white cheddar
1/4 cup freshly shredded smoked gouda, plus more as needed
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Meanwhile, in a pan, add heavy cream, and let it heat on low for 5 minutes. Add cheddar, and whisk it into the heavy cream, then add gouda and whisk it in as well. Season the cheese sauce with paprika. If the sauce is too thick, add some pasta water to thin it out.
Once the pasta is cooked, add it to the cheese sauce, toss it together, and serve.
